



The supreme court is the last line of defense for protecting the rights of the people; rights that include free speech, the right to bear arms, and due process of law. It is critically important we elect judges who are independent and unafraid. I demonstrated that type of courage as a state legislator and will continue to
be that type of justice on the supreme court.

Judge Gunner Delay has 30 years of legal experience and history of public service, two important factors which qualify him for the state’s highest court.

Judge Gunner DeLay, is a life-long Arkansan who grew up in Northwest Arkansas, graduating from Southside High School in Fort Smith. He attended the University of Arkansas where he obtained his Bachelor's degree in business administration and later received his law degree from University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
At the age of 31, Gunner entered the arena of public service, when he was elected as a Republican State Representative in 1994 and then to the State Senate in 1998.
As a former Republican state legislator and prosecuting attorney DeLay was appointed to serve on the bench by Gov. Asa Hutchinson in 2018. He was re-elected as circuit judge without opposition in 2020.

Gunner and his wife Robin, have four children; Taylor and her husband Drew, Gunner II and his wife Britta, Caroline and her husband Will, and Suzanna. They are the proud grandparents of two grandchildren, Gunner III "Tripp" and Tatum Jane. They reside in Fort Smith Arkansas.
